Chetan Solanki (born 1995, Ahmedabad) is an emerging Indian artist specializing in painting and mural design. He completed his Bachelor of Visual Arts in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, MSU, Baroda in 2022 and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Visual Arts with a focus on mural design at the same institution. Solanki’s work is deeply rooted in Indian miniature painting and mural traditions, using natural colors and traditional techniques. He has received recognition from the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi and participated in notable events. His art explores themes of loss and preservation, often documenting elements on the verge of extinction through various media and forms.
